I know for a fact that shipping charges should be MUCH lower. I will not order again. We all know you are over charging!!!

    Shipping charges and Returns

I like most of the clothes I've purchased they hold up under daily wearings and washings. Most problems are with sizing,and cost returning items due to szing problems. Items ordered arrive in a plastic bag mailer and clothing is usually very light in weight.

4-5 items cost about $40 in shipping but you can return them for much less usually under $10 so I feel their shipping charges are extreme !!!!! When you purchase a top for $50, shipping is about $10 per item. When you get a discount its 10 or 15 % off actual item(s) not off shipping. To return item(s) you pay return shipping. Sometimes they include a standard return label to which $7 is charged to your account. If you use your M&M credit account.and you return an item, you are charged for shipping on total items ordered, and only credited for the item(s) returned so you can end up paying $40 shipping and only have kept (1) item seems unfair to pay $90 for a $50 top. Its impossible to know if items will fit even when ordering same items as previously purchased, have found them to be way off in sizing.I have found clothes I love and repeted orders, to find the exact same item cut entirely different or color is extremely different.

Love the quility of your clothing, have been a customer for 3 yrs. or more and will continue to be a customer. Most importantly, if i am not satified with any M&M products for any reson, i can send it back get a credit, exchanged with no problem. I have referred family & friends.

I like Monroe and Main because of the quality of their larger size clothing. It is stylish, contemporary, and a good variety to choose from.

They have a lot of merchandise, that is practical and I really enjoy shopping with them.

I've ordered several dresses from Monroe and Main and I always get compliments on them whenever I wear them. One of them is even my lucky date dress!

    Monroe and Main generous return policy

I have purchased clothing and accessories from Monroe and Main for three years. There are times when my purchase just does not work out whether for myself or as a gift.

I have found it necessary to make returns over the years. I was doubtful, at first, when I returned a purse that I purchased as a gift for a friend out of state. I also purchased a couple of clothing items for my daughter at the same time. I tend to order ahead of time to save on shipping and time. Both of these had to be returned - not because of workmanship - they just either didn't fit or were not in the style of the recipient.

Some time had passed between purchase date and return date. I called Monroe and Main and was told (very nicely and professionally) how to make the return. I did have to pay for the shipping, however at a discount, but it was worth it to me to not have to "eat" the products. My account was credited as soon as the items were received by Monroe and Main.

I must add that I sent back the items in the packaging that they were sent in but did return them in a box together with another item from a different order. Monroe and Main was most gracious about my returns and willing to help.

They are concerned with customer satisfaction. I would not abuse their policy but they will accept items that don't meet a customers standards or theirs.

    Quality and Fashion at Affordable Cost

When I found the Monroe and Main catalog on my 76 year old mother's kitchen table, I picked it up just out of curiosity. I figured I would find some plus size fashions that were unfashionable and of poor quality. I was very pleasantly surprised to see fashionable clothing that is suitable for most adult women's taste.

The clothing itself ranged from cute to sporty and casual to dressy. The details in many of the items was very pleasing to the eye and mind, such as the detail stitching on blouses and shirts, bright colors and patterns on dresses and skirts, and also enough style variations to please the most discerning woman.

I felt I could find just about all my fashion needs in that one catalog! I drooled over the cute sporty clothing, the color coordination in matching pieces, and the put-together "sets" that were simply exciting and inspiring.

I found myself imagining all the places I needed to go now in order to be seen wearing all those lovely clothes!

I also fell in love with the accessories, especially the purses and shoes. The jewelry was coordinated and well chosen for the clothing they were paired with. All in all, the catalog took a lot of the usual problems out of shopping for clothes by offering a wide variety in style and taste, as well as taking the sometimes hard work and thought that goes into putting outfits, and wardrobes, together in a way that is both tasteful and economical.
