    Every flight is delayed or never on time

So some odd reason every flight to PGH pa i have issue thus last trip the plane had an issue and we were delayed for 2 hours. I travel home 4 time a year and every tip there are issues. My trips with this airline always delayed and never on time. I have a total of 8 this year with united and I am not impressed. My milage program is with united is the only reason i fly united. But i have ben using south west and jet blue and never had an issue yet.

    UA flight LAX to San Antonio

Short flight, little bumps. Ok leg room. Nice air hosts. Free non-alcoholic beverage. Enjoyed and was able to get a seat next to my friend and sleep. Large carry-on bags were taken aside and placed below no charge. Overall experience good.

    Give and Take

Ok, I think the United Airlines has one of the best customer service departments to work with when your flight is delayed or cancelled and you need to be re-booked. Unually, they are quite accomidating and even will provide you an E-Certificate credit if they are not able to accomodate you the same day.

The thing I hate most about United is Chicago airport, always a delay or bad weather.The terminal is very cramped.

    flight attendent's general attitude

I have been flying UA and some Asian airlines between USA and Asia (Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Seoul). I noticed Asian airlines' flight attendent's general attitude is much nicer than that Of UAL's. They seem nicer and warmer. UA's is kind of rigid and sometimes arrogant.

    It's not all good...

I have been a member of United's Mileage Plus Program since 1986. I have seen the airline's service and offerings decline tremendously in that period, from full meals to snacks for purchase; from 2 free bags to none (unless you're Premier or above); speaking of which, I have seen the mileage requirement for Premier status increase to 30,000 miles, nearly impossible for anyone but a business person to attain. The seats are closer together and narrower, thus much less comfortable. First Class seats on the 757 are absolutely awful. So why do I continue to fly United? They are one of the few airlines which serve my home airport.

I see the glowing reviews already submitted, and can only surmise that most of the people who wrote them are not frequent travelers.

I must put in a good word for the United personnel at Albany International Airport. They are friendly and efficient. And most of the Flight Attendants are also very helpful and friendly.

Now if United would just get a heart for those of us who travel a lot, but not enough to be Premier or above....

    Great Flight

I just flew on United Airlines to go to my Dads funeral and I really enjoyed this flight.The attendants were really friendly and I could not believe how much leg room I had compared to other airlines.It was clean too. I had the window exit seat and I am 70 years old and they were so nice to explain to me about not being able to remove the window and got me a great seat to replace the one I had. I was so glad to do so for safety sake.

    Help with itinerary change

I think United is GREAT!!! My husband and I were traveling from Reno to Detroit and our flight was changed (and we were not notified by Cheaptickets). When I called and finally got United, they were wonderful about helping change our flight so that we were not spending 12 hours in LAX (laying over). They saved my trip.

    Great Customer Service Agents & Easy Travel

I recently took a trip from Fayetteville Arkansas to Denver Colorado. This one probably one of the easiest United flights I had ever been on. The customer service personnel in Fayetteville as well as Denver were polite, professional and quick. I have flown United many times out of Chicago Illinois and the customer service staff is always rude and never willing to make your travel experience pleasant. I think the CS people in Chicago need to take some serious lessons from the CS agents in Arkansas and Denver. I will definitely make United my choice when flying in and out of Fayetteville.

    SAN DIEGO TO VICTORIA

We had the good fortune to be on United as we completed our cruise and holiday in San Diego. We can report that the flight via San Francisco was on time, crisp and easy. Great connections. The bags arrived in Victoria with us. United Air redeemed many other airline stories. We have advised several friends to use this great escape route into and out of Victoria.

    mediocrocy at best - but stuck with them

United simply needs more agents at their flight check-in counters. It is so aggrevating to wait in a long line and only 1 agent is working to check us ALL in!!!

Regarding the new Milage Plus automatic upgrade if a better seat is available program, seems like it is too good to be true when one lives in Chicago and almost EVERYONE on the plane is a Premier or better. I'll never get upgraded again.:(

    United Airlines IAD to KWI

United Airlines flight IAD to KWI was good. Flew in Economy Plus. While not as up-to-date as other airlines, seating is comfortable and managed to sleep a bit. Meal was good and well presented. Staff very pleasant and helpful. When going to Iraq it is nice to be able to relax on a 12hr flight.
