ONE OF THE BEST STORES, BUT....

I have a retail and shopping center background and have appreciated Best Buy stores as having one of the best storefronts for ID, an extremely well merchandised interior with excellent graphics to make a shopping experience more enjoyable and efficient. However, my observations relate to employee training and attitude. I find that, in general there seems to be adequate coverage, my experience has been that not all employees have sufficient product knowledge or they have knowledge of their department products but limited knowledge regarding products in other related departments.

In electronics, most customers need more technical help than in other product catagories as I'm sure you are accutely aware of. If an employee can't answer a question, I believe that it is imperative that they insure that they find someone who can answer the customers question, as opposed to saying they don't have the answer. If it's not in the store, they should be offered to order it.

Otherwise your people are above average and I enjoy the store very much.

    Quality Products

I have purchased a computer, camera, IPOD Touch, wide screen tv, WII, and a new TV stand from best Buy.

All of these items have proved to be good quality with no issues.

I love Best Buy because of the variety of merchandise they carry. I can find anything that I need, if it is not in the store, then I can order it online. The store employees are generally very friendly and always eager to help. I would recommend this store to anyone looking to save time and money.

I've been going to best buy for years. its no wonder it has made it through. All the stores I've been to are well lit, have great customer service, and provide the most competitive prices even compared to online stores. I will continue to shop at best buy.

I am a frequent customer at my local Best Buy. I am always greeted when I enter into the store or a department within the store. The representatives are very informational and helpful to find the answer to the question when they don't know. Being in the retail business myself I understand the importance of prompt and positive customer service. I would say that all of my experiences at my local best buy has been excellent, from the return/repair counter to the checkout.

I have been shopping at Best Buy every since they came to our town. Other companies like them are long gone. They couldn't or just wouldn't compete with Best Buy. I have bought lots of items from them and they have always been very helpful when needed. They have a manager at there Chesapeake Store that is just awsome. I hope he stays forever or at least as long as I can buy from them.

I was buying a laptop and had few questions.

The Bestbuy technician helped me in getting the right laptop at right price.

    Best Buy Aims to please

Customer service seems to be a priority at Best Buy, which is one of the reasons they get our business. We purchased a HP 1065 laptop 3 months ago and they exchanged it after 2 weeks when I complained to an associate about the touchpad. Before I left the store with a replacement they made sure the touchpad worked correctly.

    Knowledge

The knoledge of most associates I deal with at Best Buy is very good. THey are always very pleasant and know about the products. If they are not from the particular dept that questions are being asked they will seek representative for specifics they might not have. Thanks for all the help!

Best Buy is great because the staff are knowledgable and always willing to help. I have never had best buy service that I disliked, which is why I continue to go there. I dont have to ask for help; people come up to you and ask if they can help you with something. I usually can find what I'm looking for at Best Buy and if I cannot, the staff will help me find a way to get what I want. I just love best buy!

The greatest store on earth. I love shopping at this store, it has so much energy with all of the new technology. My husband just doesn't understand how I can spend so much time in a store reviewing what is the latest item and dreaming of buying it. The service is great, the salespeople know their products and are very helpful with helping me make the right choice based on my desires.

Someone would say having got a chance to write a review, i am bragging and blah blah but throughout my life i have experienced a very good and satisfying relationship with best buy. I have found a wonderful way to shop at best buy. I can use the link through upromise or bigcrumbs and get cash back, plus I can google for coupon codes that can be used online, saving even more. Then I have it shipped to my local Bestbuy which keeps me from paying shipping! It's great! It's convenient and saves me money which is very important being a mother of 3!! Thanks Bestbuy!

    Credit Card Payment

I like Best Buy and one of favorite stores. Because if even what I am looking for is not available. I am always to find a reasonable and compatible item. The only thing I do not like about Best Buy is their credit card payment procedure. Payment cannot be made at the store. As I recall, there is a fee for over the phone payment and online service payment requires a metric payment system. For example,suppose if you want to make payment before Tuesday, your payment will be credited Friday, and if you do not meet that category. They will slap you with 30 or 39 dollars fee and they do not back out. Nothing to discuss.
