It is quick and easy to set up as everything in the SK633 package has been factory linked. Batteries and connectors are included. Choose where you would like to install the sensors and the control unit and test the range before final installation. Normal range from the sensors to the telephone dialer is 80 feet, some walls or multi-level may affect this distance. This set can be customized to your security concerns by adding additional Ideal sensors, a siren or other alerts. Additional sensors will require linking to the dialer. Up to a total of 23 sensors and 8 remote controls can be linked to this dialer. The dialer will store and dial up to 5 phone numbers, 5 times. A land telephone line (not cell or VOIP) is required in order to make the calls, and electricity is required for the dialer. The dialer will call cell phones, and long distance. The bonus pack, SK635 is a sensor activated electrical outlet that adds security and convenience to where you need it. The SK635 will receive a wireless signal from up to 8 Ideal sensors (including door and window, water and temperature) and will activate the outlet to turn on a light, radio or other electrical appliance. The SK635 will require set up to the main system, instructions are included.
