I love Carnival .My husband and I have been on many cruises and Carnival is the best fun. we have been on them by are self's,with family and friends it was always a great time.We made very special memories on every ship we cruised on. We have been wanting to take our son on a cruise for a long time.

This was a family reunion so we were looking for a departure port that was easy to get to by car or plane and a trip that was not too long with something for everyone (ages 1 - 80 with lots of 20 somethings). Overall this trip was ok. The best part was our night before in San Diego and the one day we spent in Los Cabos. The ship was very small and my youngest, a week from turning 2, was not old enough to enjoy the camp. We used the babysitting service but that was only available when the other kids were not in camp. So, my husband and I never had time without the kids. The casino was very small, the room was TINY, especially since there were four of us in a room, and the food was uninspired but plentiful. The seated dinner was silly. We were with the same people but now dressed up in even more cramped quarters.

Somehow my memories are still fond - mostly because of the company. People on the ship clearly wanted to have fun and although there wasn't a whole lot to do, we all managed to just enjoy sitting and talking. The weather was perfect, which really helped. If you take this trip don't pass up the chance to whale watch in Cabos. We didn't pay for an organized excursion. There were plenty of people sitting on the docks offering to take tourists out. Hold out and offer far less. We got a great deal and while the boat was just bigger than a raft, the "captain" took us right up to whales. Truly amazing.

We are getting ready to cruise in Dec. 2011. This cruise will be our first cruise. My two children 16 and 13 will not know about the cruise until the day before we leave. The cruise is their Christmas present! Excited does not put it into words. Now, we have to wait an entire year without telling the kids and get online to see the countdown on the Carnival website until our cruise. I would like to be able to purchase the drink option over the website. It would be nice to have as many small items taken care of before we leave.

Great time. good prices. Staff was fabulous. They were always cleaning. It was immaculate. Food was good. Itinerary was awesome. Ship was fabulous.
