i enjoy the clothes from newport news. I just wish they had more seleepwear and lingerie. i remember the old catalogs that had that in their as well as a larger selection of shoes. otherwise i love the store.

Newport News' merchandise line being of a better quality than the sister/affiliate stores, causes the prices to be higher with less coupons or discounts. This online store needs to give more discounts, so customers can afford their clothes.

Normally more than one item is needed for an outfit, but the prices without discounts makes it hard to patronize this merchant, especially when shipping/handling and taxes are an additional cost.

I also had the worst refund experience with Newport News. I have been a customer for over 10 years, and did not have trouble until last year. I returned several items due to poor quality. Two months later, I still had not received acknowledgement of receipt. I kept copies of tracking numbers and receipt confirmations. I had to make multiple calls for my eventual credits. The longest I waited was 3 months! I think the company now has a policy NOT to issue credit until the customer notices it. They are just hoping we would forget! The company is a complete scam and should be reported to Consumer Protection.

Shopping with Newport News has been a great expeience! I have ordered jeans and swimsuits and have been extremely pleased with the products. The product decription has been right on each time. Shipping is prompt and the website is user friendly. I am always anxious to open my Newport News emails each day to see what is new. I find the prices to be very reasonable and the sales are remarkable. Thanks Newport News for providing a great shopping experience right from my home!

Like many other reviewers, I purchased something from Newport News, portion of my order shipped and most of it was "backordered". I receive an email saying my backordered items would ship a few weeks later, then after a few weeks past, I got another email saying they would ship in another few weeks. I still have not received part of my order and it has been almost 4 months. I returned a couple items, and have not received credit. I also returned something for exchange and have not received my exchanged item yet. I would completely close my account with this company except they currently owe me over $150. Then again, maybe my loss can be your gain...learn from my mistake. DO NOT ORDER from Newport News!!!

Love their clothes. They carry size 5 shoes, it is so hard to find shoes in a 5 i buy mine from them. prices and products awesome.

Ok we can start with this, i have over 2,000 upc's that i need 2 use your max is 1,500 i smoke alot of ur cigs to earn those i should be able to use all of them!! The coupons should atleast be a $1 off 1 pack not 2, your packs are one of the most expensive if it doesnt become good for my wallet ill just go to camel menthol wides.. I called because i was 1 day after the shipping date to place an order out of the last catalog so i could get the GPS i smoked over 1,000 packs time $7 apeice so $7000 worth of cigs to get a $60 GPS an i couldnt send it out over 1 day.. My dad was sick in the hospital it was the 1st thing on my mind.. Ur articals arent for ur target.. Ur target is 18-40 everyone i know my age smokes ports but isnt real excited about over $7 a pack.. but ne way back 2 the catalog do more hip hop articles go to your target market, interview Jay-Z or TI.. Do some skateboard/snowboard/biking articles.. Basically make it a mag that someone my age 26 is interested in reading cause i just grab the coupons and those sux 1$ off 2 packs is an insult use to be $3 on 2 packs make the coupons better to keep your smokers before they switch to something cheaper IE the Camel Menthol wides or regular menthol alot of people like that ball u can click or the new Marlbro 54's are pretty good both over $1 A PACK CHEAPER!! Ur mag needs to trend to a different demographic im telling u go hip hop generation!!! U need a good worker to work thats gonna make ur mag sell let me know cause with all the people you send those to with a good mag newport would make millions and clearly i can show ya how to make ur mag pop!!

I've shopped with Newport-News.com for years now and like the store overall. They have a good selection of nice clothing at a reasonable price, especially with sales and/or promotional savings. They often offer free or discounted shipping with a purchase of $50.00 or more. The one bad thing is that they often over-sell their products. Many times, when I purchase something that's "in stock," I get an e-mail several days later saying that it is either "on backorder" for weeks or even months, or it's no longer available "due to unusually high demand." In my opinion, this is simply unacceptable. In other words, if they actually ship & complete your order, then you'll like this store.

I have been extremely pleased with the quality of the merchandise purchased from Newport News. The descriptions very closely match the actual product in color and workmanship.

I ordered clothing from Newport News for the very first time in March of 2010. I took until April 31st, the day before my vacation for the items to finally arrive after beening told different stories about the state of the order, having it cancelled and reissued, etc. Once I received the items I was extremely pleased and have once again purchased from Newport News to see if I can't get the service that I heard they were known for. We'll see.

I have shopped with Newport News for years and was pretty pleased with most of my purchases. Unfortunately for the first time I had to return an item and after 4 weeks and counting still have not received a credit. I was told to call back on the 24th of April if I still had not received the credit. When I called back today, the customer service rep told me that it could take two more weeks. When I told her that a supervisor told me to call back if it hadn't been credited she looked up the notes and said "Oh I see, the supervisor said if you called back I could send it up for the credit to be processed, but it could take seven more days" Needless to say - it didn't take them six weeks to charge my card and I can promise the dress has been back up for sale for at least a month. Won't ever purchase from them again!

i like newport catalog but when you don't meet the guideline or the experation date you stuck with the upc's,and have to wait unitl you get the next catalog and when you call nobody knows when the next catalog is comming out its not fair to your customer's. We buy your smokes and we should be able to get someting in return and we saved our upc's and we are stuck with them until you make a decession on when you are comming out with the next catalog

I have been shopping at Newport-News for several years. The quality of the clothing is excellent - especially the Shape FX line. The sizes are consistent, which makes it very easy to shop online. The best part is that there is always a sale!

Newport News has started a habit of soliciting purchases with the promise of discounts and then removing them after the purchase is concluded and after the item(s) is shipped when it is too late to cancel the order.

I just bought 2 swimsuits on sale from Newport News. They are good quality and fit well. Great for my vacation to CA to visit with my son & daughter-in-law. Also got a beautiful skirt. I have bought shoes from here also. Their sales are great.

Before leaving for Fiji I went to Newport News and was able to pick up 5 new swim suits for the cost of 1 at a local department store. The quality is great and they will last a couple of seasons. I have always found that Newport News has great sales and always great coupons on bestonlinecoupons.com. Check back especially look at the last chance sections.
