Scholastic Books offers special titles that kids really might be interested in. It's hard sometimes for children to sit down and read after a long day from school. Scholastic Books are relevant to these times by catering to special interests and grade levels. Also they offer bargains that you can only get through their website.

I like the website and that you're able to look at the exact flyer, page by page, that the kids bring home. It's much easier to shop this way when the kids go through and circle the books they like. It's also very, very cool that I can put both kids' classroom orders on the same order form. Love it! There was nothing that I had a problem with.

The scholastic webpage is useful and easy to navigate. Once you are signed in you can do alot of different things and it is easy for parents to make online orders and then all I have to do is submit the order and the work is taken out of my hands which I really like.

We love scholastic book store because the huge variety allows us to find books and kits for hours of fun and learning at the same time. My budget likes it too because we often purchase books from the clearence list. we love it and we buy more each month.

I like to shop online at scolastic book store. My kids always enjoy looking through the fliers, but I even get more online. I just wish I knew how to get coupons for the store. It has a spot for a coupon code, but I have never seen one..

THE SELECTION IS NICE AND SO ARE THE PRICES. i WOULD LIKE TO BE ABLE TO PUT ITEMS IN THE CART AND HAVE A SAVE FOR LATER OPTION BECAUSE IF I CANT GET THEM ALL I HAVE TO UPDATE ORDER FOR EVERY BOOK I DECIDE NOT TO GET THEN I HAVE TO FIND THE BOOK AGAIN WHEN READY TO ORDER MORE.

Parents can place book orders through their child's classroom teacher online. It is very easy to set up an account after the teacher gives parents his/her code.

Every month there is at least one book that costs only $1.00. Plus, teachers can now allow parents to order from several catalogs. This gives children and parents a wide range of choices and a few more dollar books to select from.

Reading is the most important part of a child's education. Having the oppotunity to purchase books on any budget is important. The easy online ordering and still having the paper catalogs to send back to school shows Scholastic is doing everything possible to help get books in the hands of children.

I love Scholastic. As a parent of three young children and a library coordinator for my son's grade school (with a VERY small budget), I appreciate that I can find most books at a good price. However, why can I also not find a coupon code that works?

I love being able to order online, however, I found that the lack of a search function forced me to spend a LOT of time browsing to find the specific titles requested by my daughter. I'm not eager to use this site again if books are this difficult to find. Having to roam through all titles alphabetically because the books are not in the expected category & not have the option to see all in one screen versus having to wait for links to load is not acceptable. I spent less time filling out the form & writing a check.

I've also found that NONE of the possible coupon codes work. What a disappointment.

Scholastic Book Store site is really user friendly. You can sign in and review all of the flyers that your child's teacher has selected for the class to use. You can also see all of the Clearance items that are not in the flyers. When you order online, your child's homeroom will receive one free book, so if each family orders they can receive 25 or so free books a month!! It is very easy to view/edit your cart. When you checkout you are also able to add in a coupon code, which you are not able to do if you just fill in the paper order form and send it back to school. You can find all kinds of coupon codes online that apply to all different age leveled books. There are even codes for the different book club memberships that scholastic offers.

I really have not come across anything that I disliked about the website yet, but if I do I will let you know!

I still remember my first book order that I got from my teacher in second grade. I just placed a order for my second grader. I am sure that he will be just as excited.

I am a teacher and it is so easy to enter orders for my class. I also love to use my free bonus points to enhance my library.

I have a disabled child and finances are an issue, but I can always find bargains and affordable items for all my children within my budget.

I use this store to order my books that the kids like as well as for gift orders. For example, it is a great place to order the book for the yearly book exchange in the classroom. Also, I just ordered one of the discounted books (a Christmas story that was $1) as the gift for the class so that instead of the kids getting candy at the class party, they will each get a book. Wonderful way to shop!!

The website is very easy to sign up and use. Parent friendly, and detailed, providing details about the books that you are interested in purchasing. Even if your child doesn't come home with all the ordering forms, you can view them on the website and purchase.

Scholastic's online ordering makes it so easy to find great books for all my kids. Prices are very competitive and the selection is so diverse - everything from science to silly to serious.

Wonderful website. Easy to search books by ability, price, interest, etc. Will NEVER tally a strip of paper again!!

Using the on-line option for ordering books for my Kindergartener is so much more convenient than trying to keep track of the order form and making sure he turns it in. Plus, it's great that his classroom receives $3 per order for classroom books!

I love being able to order books for my gradeschool children online. This is a user friendly site, however I would suggest that when adding a purchase to your "cart" you should be able to view your cart without having to go to "check out". Also on the ordering pages a simpler VIEW ALL would be helpful and possibly a hoover "over" each item for a brief description...Just some suggestions! I do love this convenience of ordering, NO MORE FORGETTING BOOK ORDERS! :)

I have been reading books from Scholastic since I was a small child myself. Now, that I am a Grandparent, I have turned back to Scholastic to help provide me age appropiate matterial at economic price.

Scholastic is an excellent way to get books and at a great price. I am a teacher and a mother of two. My daughter (7th grader) and I have had so much fun reading the same books at the same time. This has given us the opportunity to bond in a way never imagined before. Finally got my son (4th grader) hooked on chapter books, Geronimo Stilton, and now can buy him some at a reasonable price. Scholastic book clubs allow me to buy books at a reasonable price and then I am able to use them in my own classroom as well!!
