1 Stars lies

When added on to a family plan was told 25 different things from different customer service people. 1st wrong color of phone, then wrong payment per my phone for monthly charges, also no screen protectors, was told no activation fee... Lied again, then told data will still be used if I'm not connected to Verizon WiFi... Clueless customer service and need to be re trained.

5 Stars Verizon ROCKS!

Back in the day, I was a Cingular Customer...then AT&T bought them out....Cingular was a bad thing but AT&T made it horrid....long story short...dropped calls everywhere...also the bundling of services was a diaster...I was charged for many months for many different things, and was eventually cut off, at no fault of my own. As soon as I cleared up things and received all of my money from them, I stopped my service and went to Verizon. I have been with Verizon for years and they ROCK! I have three kids which also share my plan. We've been through everything from stolen phones to broken phones and each and every time I have talked to Verizon, they have made it a pleasure. Verizon not only talks a good game, but they are true to their words! Thank you Verizon!

5 Stars verizon Rocks

I will only have verizon for my cell phone carrier . I have almost no dropped calls and the customer serivce is great . If I ever have an issue with my phone it is resolved that day or they replace it . They do not give you a hassle if you have phone issues . When I upgrade plan or increase my minutes the customer service is wonderful . They actually tell you if you are paying for more minutes then you are really need or are using . I have been a loyal verizon customer for over 10 years now

5 Stars Great phones

I love my phone from Verizon Wireless. I am able to get good coverage almost everywhere. The workers in the stores are very helpful and I learn a lot about each phone I ask about when I visit. They are always there for help when my phone is having troubles.

4 Stars Longtime Customer

Verizonwireless has been my cellphone carrier of choice for many years. Overall, I am very pleased with the phones, coverage area and customer service. Sometimes it does get a little confusing, but each and every time, the customer representatives do their best to sort everything out. I guess one plus of other carriers is that they give more compensation than just an apology. In summation, I am very pleased with Verizon Wireless.

4 Stars Verizon Wireless has best coverage.

Verizon Wireless is the second carrier we have used. We love Verizon Wireless because it has really good coverage. The company we used before, US Cellular, would not be available in a lot of areas where we live plus it would drop our call or tower would be down frequently. We have not had any of those problems with Verizon Wireless and we are very pleased.

3 Stars You pay for what you get????

Verizon is like Time Warner Cable extremely expensive reliable the majority of the time butseems to have major glitches during prime/time or peak hours. Seems like these major market monsters can't keep up. Cutbacks happening everywhere and well I'm willing to have an 85% reliable service for almost 75% less. Sorry Verizon even with my companies 20% coverage discount you're still unaffordable to the average US family.

3 Stars Good service, but pricey!

We find that where we live the service is the most reliable. However, the additional monthly charges for data use even if you never use the feature is getting to be ridiculous. Definitely thinking of changing because of that. It really limits what phone you can purchase with them and avoid the additional monthly charges.

4 Stars Spendy but reliable.

I shopped around quite a bit before signing up with Verizon. My experience has been basically reflective of the feedback I got. Verizon isn't cheap, but it's usually reliable.

They've since rolled out their Friends and Family feature on select plans where you can set up a list of outgoing phone numbers that do not count against monthly minutes allowances. This is a nice feature, and I appreciate it. However, I wish it were available on all of the family plans, since only those with 1400+ shared minutes enjoy this benefit. Also, customers who do any messaging at all are basically forced to get a messaging bundle since individual texts can get spendy QUICK.

Also, you can learn from a lesson I paid for and check your bill really carefully. A recurring billing error ended up costing me because they claim to not have access to more than the last couple months of billing. I ended up paying for several months on something I requested (and later confirmed to be) blocked. They apologized and credited back a couple month's worth, but in the end, they still have some of my money they shouldn't have. I was pretty irritated about that, but for the most part, customer service has been pretty good. At least they're friendly. That definitely counts for something.

Overall, I rarely lose service. And although I've traveled to several places across the US with my Verizon phone, I can say that there are very few places where I've had any coverage issues. I'll probably stick with this company for awhile.

4 Stars Reliable Wireless Carrier

Verizon has been my wireless provider for several years. I am rarely in a "no signal" zone and have had very few issues. When I have had questions or problems they have responded quickly and with a good outcome.

3 Stars An Alright Phone Company

Nice selection of phones, great coverage.

The website interface is very disorganized and hard to follow, however. I would rather there not be a talking voice when I log into my account. Great phones overall!

1 Stars Disappointingly Expensive

I had a Verizon phone for 2 years to get to the end of the contract and not pay the outrageous fees to get out early. They have nice phones and coverage, I will give them that, but as far as "bang for your buck"? Horrible. They charge so much for phone service then so much more for texting. I cannot win when using verizon. Thwy suck you in with appealing commercials then slap a HUGE monthly bill with random fees in yoir face. Don't fall for Verizon. AT&T has just as much coverage for so much less money.

3 Stars Switched from Sprint

I'm one of your newest customers. I just signed up after being with Sprint for several years. I have heard only good comments about Verizon Wireless and just switched today. I am hoping to be a long term customer.

5 Stars New Verizon Droid

I just purchased a new droid from verizon. I love this phone... It is GREAT.. The apps work good, the navigation system is outstanding...

2 Stars Verizon

I am outraged at the high prices of cell phone service that my family is currently paying. On top of that you can;t get a good deal on a phone unless your contract is up

5 Stars # 1

By far the best cellphone company on the planet!!! Never had better customer service from any company anywhere!!!

2 Stars expensive

I find that the service is not better than other carriers (I have had Sprint and Altell). I think thier plans are too expensive due to not having a median range option. I think they could have an option for someone who doesn't talk 1000 minutes a month but more than 200. Phones tend to break or stop working as well.

4 Stars average monthly usage costs

althought verison has phones for a great price the monthly usage fees are a bit high. but in the first few months of service you receive a huge bill due to excessive texts or phone calls verison will work with you to adjust your plan and wave the unexpected charges if you upgrade. verison also texts me if i'm close to my limit of monthly texts.

you get what you pay for with verison, the service is excellent.

2 Stars Had to switch suppliers

When using Verizon, I had problems first with phone service. Though I was on their service map, I'd receive poor/no connection in town, and would sometimes be roaming for no reason.

After this, I started getting strange charges on my phone account. This included $20-30 service charges they were unable to explain, and not included in my contract details. When I inquired about them, I was told they were probably from data transfer or picture messages, neither of which I have used. This happened on consecutive months, and though the charges could not be substantiated, the company would not drop them. Once my contract expired, I switched providers and never had this problem again. Incidentally, I now pay less for unlimited data, unlimited nights/weekends, and 1000 anytime minutes than I did for a very basic package through Verizon.

Their customer service reps, when they CAN answer your questions, however, are very polite and courteous.

3 Stars Verizon new LG cellular phone

It has a full qwerty board which is great for texting. The only problem is the touch screen does not always work correctly-- sometimes you push a key and the one above it is recognized... very annoying! But it does have internet access which works great.

4 Stars Pleased to be a customer

I have verizon wireless for two years now. I have a LG Voyager NATIONWIDE PREMIUM FAMILY SHARE PRIMARY plan which is another voyager and a Samsung Alias. The customer service at verizon wireless is great I always fully help and never leave with any questions. I also have telephone service help and it was the same experience like i was there in person. I know this one time I was looking for a specific phone cse that verizon didn't offer anymore and the sales clerk look online for me and tried to offer me other cases that they offered. I feel the people they hired are real experts and work really hard to please their customers. There has been times that i was able to fully pay my bill and instead of turn my service off they work with me to keep my serivce on. The only thing is that i wish i could watch v cast mobile t.v and the browser is slow.Overall rating of verizon wirless four stars or 9 out of 10. I love my service with verizon and even referred my friends and classmates to verizon because I know they will be truly happy.I also going to get the DROID by Motorola I'm so excited

4 Stars Could do a little better Verizon

In general I've had good servive with Verizon Only when the service go's down it takes them a long time to get it going again. Put a generator at the towers verizon. The phones I have gotten from them have been Good and their customer service has been Great. Just a little better Verizon.

4 Stars Nice company good service

We switched from att because when it was time to get new my free replacement phones ATT wanted a $35 upgrade fee per phone.

Verizon is great. Service is better. Free loaner for use in europe (.99/min. though). One month I went way over my minutes and I upgraded my plan mid month. paid $10 more for the new plan instead of $45 for peak minutes on the lower plan. you can downgrade anytime as well.

I do miss ATT rollover minutes.

5 Stars like it

I bought a Verizon phone three months ago and so far satisfied with the company. Good customer service, good quality phones, good connection. The rates are a bit higher than in Sprint, but I like the cell phones Verizon offers. The only problem I had is with mail-in rebate. I never got it. They said they shipped it, and it's been 45 days so far and I am still waiting. To be honest, I am not hoping to receive it, though it was a 100 dollar rebate
