Free books for your school library Does anyone know if you buy two books and do it in two separate transactions if your class library receives two books or one per child? Since my son wants four books and I'm willing to do four different transactions so his class can earn four books rather than one. Thanks!

teacher I am very happy to say that I have been ording with scholastic for more then 10 years and have made my library grow. I always encourage parents to buy a book, at least the $1.00 book. At first I found ordering on line a problem but now it seem easy.
My only issue that I have with scholastic is the fact that there are not enough spanish books and certainly not resources for teachers. I am always having to do my own.

Shopping online I have never placed an order with Scholastic online,but I really want to have my child's class receive a free book.I can't even believe how easy it is.I wish I did this a couple of years ago when it was first available to my child's classroom.

Scholastic book club= great memories I remember being so excited when we got our scholastic book club packets when I was in school and now it is time for my son to get these packets and pick out books to buy. I love how easy it was for me to go online and choose books, that were very clearly marked with the grade level, that were perfect for my son and my daughters ages. Easy to use This website is so much easier to use then filling out the paper forms the kids get from school! The only challenge is getting the activation code from your school.

scholastic the website is a little confusing, when i first tryed logging on it was down for a few hours. the selection is great but it is not easy to go back. and once you try to check out if you want to go back to shopping its hard their is no easy back to shopping button.

Scholastic has a comprehensive store The web site is easy to navigate. Topics are clearly delineated and separated to maximize quick and easy browsing. I especially like the opportunities to enter a contest while I am busy ordering and searching for materials our school needs. The coupons page invites me to stop by often, AND then there are the great books, good prices and sales.
What more can a teacher/librarian’s want?

Thumbs Up for Scholastic Book Store The online Scholastic Book Store is great! The selection is interesting and covers a broad range of subjects. The non-book items they sell are pretty hip. It's easy to find things by using eithe the online catalog or a title search and check-out is a snap. Good show, SBS!
