Convenient!
Using the on-line option for ordering books for my Kindergartener is so much more convenient than trying to keep track of the order form and making sure he turns it in. Plus, it's great that his classroom receives $3 per order for classroom books!

Great ordering site,
I love being able to order books for my gradeschool children online. This is a user friendly site, however I would suggest that when adding a purchase to your "cart" you should be able to view your cart without having to go to "check out". Also on the ordering pages a simpler VIEW ALL would be helpful and possibly a hoover "over" each item for a brief description...Just some suggestions! I do love this convenience of ordering, NO MORE FORGETTING BOOK ORDERS! :)

I have been reading books from Scholastic since I was a small child myself. Now, that I am a Grandparent, I have turned back to Scholastic to help provide me age appropiate matterial at economic price.

Love to Read
Scholastic is an excellent way to get books and at a great price. I am a teacher and a mother of two. My daughter (7th grader) and I have had so much fun reading the same books at the same time. This has given us the opportunity to bond in a way never imagined before. Finally got my son (4th grader) hooked on chapter books, Geronimo Stilton, and now can buy him some at a reasonable price. Scholastic book clubs allow me to buy books at a reasonable price and then I am able to use them in my own classroom as well!!

So easy to use!
I shopped on-line for the first timea at scholastic.com and found the site VERY easy to navigate. Each catalog can be sorted in many different ways -- by page #, price, level of reading, etc. Very user friendly and way more convenient than filling out the paper forms and sending in a check!

Great Childrens books + great prices
My little kindergardener was scared to death his first month of school. Now he's doing better, but he still cries before we leave every morning. Then his teacher had all the kids make a book box, and we got to order from Scholastic, which is online! I couldn't believe how excited he was to "read". There are so many books for him, all his favorite tv characters, and books about going to kindergarden. Now he wants to read every night before bed (he never wanted to read before) and every morning before school, and it seems to be helping him with his school stress. Best of all, I could get a ton of great books, many under $3! Soon his library will be bigger than mine!

9 year old gives Thumbs UP
My 9 year old daughter and myself went over the website with her budget and selections she'd made from the sent home flyer. The website is designed well for kids and parents. We worked together and she made her selections and followed her budget. It is very user friendly.

Easy and Helpful
As a web developer and avid reader I was pleasantly surprised at the ease of use of the scholastic book web site. It has a lot of different menus for finding the right book for your child and has fairly detailed reviews of the content.Ordering was also painless and efficient.

Where are the free books??
I love the scholastic site. It is so easy to order and for my daughter's teacher to get credit. My daughter really likes the fact that the books still get distributed in the class room so all the kids can check out what each other got. HOWEVER, I have placed an order twice now when she is supposed to be able to choose a free book with her order and have not been able to do so. I even sent them a comment about it and got no response. That stinks! Where are the free books??

Easy and Cheap!
I ordered several books for my son, it is a easy to use website and their prices are very reasonable, I got him 6 books for under $15.00. Plus was able to qualify to get his Kindergarten class a free book.

Quality Assistance in all Areas
The books offered are excellent.
Items for teachers are more geared for younger grades...in general...and only a few for secondary teachers.
While my computer skills are sufficient,when it comes to scholastic ordering, I really prefer to order by phone. I felt that the service providers over the phone were not so considerate or patient. While I understant the push for online ordering, phone quality should still be something to continue to instill.

I love Scholastic books! The prices are VERY reasonable and I love the selection. It helps me as a parent because they list the reading level.

Great prices. Lots of special offers and coupons. A wonderful place to pick out books for children. Consider shopping here for birthday parties and other occassions where you need a unique gift, at modest cost. You can get a gift that is both fun and educational. What's better than that!

where i find the 10 digits coupon redeem?????
I get scholastic click news from my son school and was great go online and make and order but I have some troubles redeem a coupon; the system ask for 10 digit code and i don't have any idea where to find those coupons, I look for more than an hour online and nothing!!!!!!
After I almost quit because i have a coupon 20% off that doesn't work in these parents online school order I found the phone and I decide to call scholastic. I ask for the coupon code and they give me the code for the free book for the school,well I was expecting a coupon that i can redeem for me too because these order online will give a free book for the school already with my order.
Any way the people on the phone was very nice and i don't want to be a trouble maker but will be great if the parent have a reward or discount also in these kind of orders.

I love the scholastic book store site. Easy to find titles with images and good descriptions of the books.I like that they put the books in catagories for age and reading readiness groups. Great Site. Keep up the good work!
