Each bottle of this 2009 Clos LaChance wine is packed with a hand-harvested blend of cabernet sauvignon, malbec, and merlot grapes. Aromas of fresh bing cherry, blackberry, raspberry, and cassis—warmed by hints of cedar and vanilla—fuse together in each pour for a well-balanced glass with medium acidity. The wine's grapes, which are certified sustainable by the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance (CSWA), were grown under environmentally friendly practices in a way that will be economically feasible to maintain for years to come.
