Splendid.com Reviews

I'll admit Splendid has some great casual wear but words of warning: Do not shop at splendid.com. That website has the *worst* return policy and the *worst* customer service ever. I shop online quite a bit. While convenient, it's impossible to determine size and fit so I rely on returns. I purchased a bathing suit at splendid.com (did I mention, don't use this site?!?). When I tried it on, it was a little too snug so I asked to exchange it -- I mean, EXCHANGE, not return, not asking for my money back -- exchange for a larger size. Splendid.com (unlike many other retailers, e.g., jcrew.com, bananarepublic.com or nordstroms.com) *refused* even though it had never been worn and the hygenic strip remained intact. I thought this couldn't be real especially in this economy when consumers are hard to come by so I spoke with a supervisor/manager. He not only refused, he hung up on me when I pressed the issue. Do not shop at this site!! It's not worth the time and aggravation.
