Super 8 Motel Reviews

We chose Super 8 for our stay in Biloxi for the Cruizin the Coast car show. The location is great. The rooms were clean. We will keep coming back.

the rooms are clean but the help in this motel is pretty bad. I had the misfortune of sleeping in a first floor room that was situated by the ice machine and the laundry room. The noise from both of these kept me awake all night long, I woke out of a pretty good sleep to hear Housekeeping carrying on (loud laughter, clanging pails and other cleaning equipment, slamming doors, etc.) outside my room (2 AM). They also made noise in the morning when i was trying to sleep in. I put a Do Not Disturb sigh on my door: I think this made them even more brazen with their behavior. I also had a similar experience with Housekeeping noise when I stayed there another time (3rd floor), so I guess these people must have the run of the place. I won't stay at this motel again.

I have stayed in many hotels and I am often surprised that Super 8 gets only one star, when some hotels that have 2 stars are not nearly as nice. They don't spend a lot of money on ambience, but then I don't think they're trying to steal customers from the Hilton.

The Super 8 where I stay most often is in my hometown. Its location just off the interstate makes it easy for people passing through. The others I've stayed in were also near major highways.

The rooms are large and the beds are pretty comfortable. THe free wi-fi is great!

I have always found Super 8 motels to be a good value, especially on car trips.

my family and i moved to minnesota and then back to oregon and during our three day road trip we chose to stay at super 8 motels because they allowed our dog. it was convenient and decent.
