    All about Sephora!

I found Sephora many years ago while living in the continental US. I have since moved home to the Big Island and look forward to my trips to Honolulu, Sephora being a highlight.

In general their marketing concept is superb. I love to "play" and try all the different products. The product lines are upper end, but being able to try them first makes a different. I love the "girly" feeling of trying different things, and then making a decision. It's like trying different outfits and deciding on the best one! I don't mind spending more than I would at a drugstore because for the most part, I know what I am getting. Given the fact that I live a plane ride away from the nearest Sephora, it is worth it. I find I don't nickle and dime myself on cheaper products, which I never finish. The staff at Sephora have excellent product knowledge and if they don't know the answer they find out. If I am unsure of a particular product, I can always obtain a sample and if I like it, I can order it online. They have an excellent return policy and I love the "bonus" points that are redeemable for samples.

There is only two drawbacks to Sephora.

1) I always spend more money than I intend to spend.

2) There isn't one on the Big Island of Hawaii

Although a Sephora shop finally opened in a nearby mall, I still find myself shopping Sephora online because they always have so many great online coupons offering freebies and extra discounts. Plus, with every online order comes a selection of free samples. I like the fact that you can choose the samples from a rotating list.

Repeat customers should also consider joining their Beauty Insiders reward program, which offers exclusive offers, discounts, and freebies. You even get a yearly birthday gift, which is a nice touch.

New customers should know that many items carried at Sephora are higher end in price. But I've really had a good experience with what I've ordered. The quality is usually reflected in the price. And a great bonus is flat shipping and an easy return policy, which allow some latitude to try new things.

I love these guys, ordering from them is easy as pie and they've got a massive selection. I usually order the Urban Decay primer potion (which rocks by the way.) They ship quickly, and you get to pick out your free samples which is usually some nice stuff that i'd buy again. Wish they'd offer free shipping under a certain weight, When I only order my primer it's a lot to ship it.

Is an excellent and easy way to shop for what I need. Time is precious and I do not have much and when I can find everything in a short period of time it is well worth it.

My three girls, ages 27, 12, and 9 shopped your new sephora store in rivertown crossings mall in grandville MI. Right off I was impressed by the welcoming staff.Very kind and helpful. I was interested in anything different than what the box stores sell(target, walmart etc.). I found that you have a large selection of pearlescent makeup for me, and sparkling makeup for my younger daughters. Hard to find alot of these in other stores. Also, you had some good self tanning sprays; something my husband is interested in.My one daughter bought sparkling eye shadow, that she liked real well. Worth the $12.00. Also, I will let my neice know about the baby products. I actually tried the sunscreen, and lotion, and liked the quality of the thickness, and low perfume smell. thank you, martha playford

    More Organic Brands Displayed in Stores

Sephora is very neat and well maitained store. Not all the stores do not carry the product that is online. Because if you want something right away you have to wait to get it or get something else in it's place. They are getting more organic brands in there store and website...need to have special section just for organic products. Better displaying products that are organic. There a lot of people in this day age like me that are becoming allergic to chemicals and gluten in products. The stores need to be more allergy freindly.

    Not ONE bad thing to say

UNbelievable but I don't have anything negative to say about this place. I believe it's all because of the generous samples mostly offered without asking. That's great customre service that has kept me coming back for more and purchasing things I wouldn't normally buy. That equals a loyal customer. I wish they would carry stuff Cleu de Beaute concealer and some more high end hard to find brands. That'd be GREAT.

I have had such amazing experiences with Sephora -- I've been brand loyal my entire life to Clinique, until 2 years ago Sephora came to our local mall. The entire staff is pleasant, patient, knowledgable, unafraid of admitting they can't answer a question -- and finding a sales person who can. Sephora's return policy is unbelievable, service and staff incredible, and variety of brand and availability of stock just astounding. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else for my "beauty" needs and have encouraged (and dragged a few of them to come with me) most everyone I know to check them out. I've never heard a bad word about them and am delighted to have found them!!!

There carry a huge selection of products from affordable to high end.Every color you'll ever need in Lipsticks/gloss ,nail polish,eyeliners,blush......Creams and potions that smell wonderful and are full of the latest ingredients to help us girls look our best.love it ,love ,love it

Sephora cannot be beat for their range of products, competitive pricing and customer service. The very few times I have returned items (such as the Clarisonic because I found it on QVC for $40 less) it was done cheerfully and professionally. The only reason I don't go there every day is because I would buy something every day!

    Mother and Daughter - Hooked on Sephora!

I started using Sephora when my 15 year old daughter brought some home after a shopping trip with Grandma. One hectic morning she left it sitting out, and I just couldn’t resist, I HAD to try some of those luscious colors and blends. And now, I love it! There is glitter galore for the perfect evening out. There are eye shadow shades that blend together and can create almost every look from sultry to simple pure innocence. Lip gloss for just that right shade! The mascara goes on silky smooth and extends those lashes out without a single under eye smudge. And these are just the colors! Santa will be bringing at least a sampler of the cleansing and moisturizing products. These will be for my daughter – it’s never too soon to learn how to keep out damaging sun rays, add firming moisturizer to those beautiful eyes, and replenishing lotion to wear at night.

Sephora offers me the opportunity to try many different brand products first before I buy them. The sales people are very helpful and knowledgeable and always go out of their way to check if any out of stock items may be in the back storeroom. Last of all, I love the brands they carry! The department stores cannot compare for me and they always make me feel pressured to buy something.
