    My Borders Review

I just recently bought a Borders membership and I was enjoying the discounts/coupons and it was right around the corner from the house. I just found out that the store is Closing so not I am not happy about getting books that day now I have to wait for them to ship...:(

Would give 5 stars but since the store is closing not to long from me buying a 20 dollar membership I give 3 stars.

I LIVE IN DALLAS TEXAS AND GO TO THE MCKINNEY AVE. STORE,THEY ALWAYS HAVE A GREAT SELECTION OR BOOKS AND MOVIES I ALSO LIKE THE OTHER ITEMS THEY OFFER LIKE MUSIC,GIFTS AND CRAFT ITEMS.

WORKING AT A HIGH SCHOOL TWO BLOCKS FROM THIS STORE IS WONDERFUL I CAN ALWAYS RUN UP THERE AND FIND WHAT I NEED.

I've always had great experiences shopping either online at borders.com or in the store. Store clerks are always knowledgeable and seem more than pleased to take the time assist you, even when you call to have them check inventory over the phone. My orders have always shown up on time, and best of all their rewards program is FREE (unlike other book store rewards programs). Love Borders!

I love that Borders has such a variety of ebooks. They have a great selection at great prices. I love them.

    Nice Bookstore

Borders is a nice bookstore. I do think they tend to be a bit smaller than Barnes and Noble. That is the one thing that I don't like. Other than that, for their size they have a great selection. I have been happy with them.

    Best Selection for a Bookstore

This store has the BEST selection out of any bookstore. The staff is wonderful as well.

The prices can be a bit high sometimes, but they're always better than most bookstores.

I buy most of my reading material here. I visit regularly.

I could easily spend a whole night there, just browsing the wide selection.

I receive promotions in e-mail. When I need a book, this is the first place I go. Great selection, excellent service, fast shipping.

    Easy and satisfying shopping experience

Borders is where I shop for all my books...reading 3 to 4 a month. I always recieve great promotional coupons in my email just as I am about ready to pick up another book. The savings for me has been quite significant. Predictably I am drawn to mystery thrillers and find there is a huge selection for me to choose from. The staff is very friendly and always seem to notice when I draw that vacant lost look and am in need of assistance.This is a great shop well deserving of repeat business and buyer loyalty.

    Borders!Great place for Mother & Daughters

I love to bring my 2 daughters to Borders about 2 times a month and just shop for some books and browse for about an hour the atmosphere is so great at Borders we love it.I go to my section and they go to their teen section and than we meet up in the Cafe for a drink after about an hour and we look at the selection of books that we've chosen its great.and Im registered online so I always recieve Borders coupons I print out one for me and for my daughter so we both get a discount.

    Borders: Comfortable Surroundings and Books

Borders books store is one of the best book stores out there. You can always find the book or magazing you need. Also, they have a large amount of CDs and DVDs. I love the fact that they sell TV show series in their stores. The surroundings are always comfortable with chairs and seats to use while reading or browsing. All of the employees are helpful in finding exactly what you need.

    Better than BAM

I home school my child and need a vast array of titles to entertain, interest, and teach him. This store usually has everything I need. And, my local store has a good staff that never has a problem locating what I need.

    Good selection of books, no buying pressure.

I recently was searching for books on building a website. Amazon listed potential books with sales ranking. My local Borders had the one I was searching for (and more!). Good coffee shop too. What more could you ask for?!!

    Always Reliable

I love that whenever I go to Borders, a customer service rep will always find me and ask if I need help. If they don't have the book in stock, the rep will offer to order the book for me. Borders has the best customer service of any bookstore.

My favorite Borders has a downstairs with a fireplace where you can sit and read as long as you like with no hassles from anyone! I love all bookstores, but Borders is THE BEST!

I am a fan of borders books because if I need a book urgently I can go to the local store and pick up that book. Also, borders has some great coupons that they send out if you are a member and it's worth it. I got 33% percent off a book and that's money I save for lunch.

    Great Store, excellent product and service.

I have always been pleased with my service at Border's. The sales people are friendly and knowledgeable. If they don't know the answer, they help you find out. They are helpful without that pushy feeling you get in some stores. There's nothing better than going in, grabbing a cup of coffee and relaxing in the cafe while deciding which magazine or book to buy.

My family and I all think Border's is a step above the competition!

    Amazing Selection; Beatable Prices

As a book and movie and music (anything pop culture, really) aficionado, I can easily spend hours upon hours in a Borders, just looking at what they have to offer. I love to browse there; they carry things I cannot find in any other store, and even can have a hard time finding onine.

However, I very rarely purchase anything from them. It's where I go to assemble a wish list. It's their pricing that gets to me. On many things (especially television box sets), a place like Target or Best Buy is way better to go to to actually make the purchase (providing, of course, that they carry the same thing, which is rare for some of the more obscure things.)

To sum up, I love Borders: they have a positively amazing selection. But their prices can be beaten almost anywhere else that sells the same goods.

I usually go to Barnes and Noble but Borders is conveniently on my way home. Unfortunately whenever I stop they usually don't have what I'm looking for. Sure they have new releases, but if your interested in finding the first book in a series you are going to be out of luck.
