    Good Deals...when there are any

As the name entails, this merchant sells all kinds of office supplies. Sometimes at decent prices but nothing mind boggling. Ironically, it's best deals come from the electronics sections, usually when they clearance merchandise. During these periods they offer some truly great deals.

However, there selection is hit and miss, and unless you are very lucky, most of the deals are scarce. Only during periods of the year with high clearance, like spring. They are however, a decent store and pretty fair with their office goods. I'd recommend at least checking them out

    Best place to buy supplies for small business

I own my own small business. The Max Perks Rewards, the weekly specials, and the extra coupons make Office Max a great place to shop. The selection is much better than the larger superstores--plus the crowd is much smaller. I can be in and out in just a few minutes. For someone who works full-time and runs her own business too, Office Max is the best! The receipts are detailed, so tax time is a snap!

Office Max accepted my offer of their competitor Office Depot coupons for $10 off a purchase of more than $20 of merchandise and technology was included. The Kodak 8 Gb microSD card was 19.95 and I added a refill gel pen cartridge for 60 cents. My final price was eleven dollars and some cents for a card and a gel pen refill; I needed both! Office Depot is 10 miles further down the highway. Thank you Office Max.

    Presentation and Copy

OfficeMax only warrants my attention when I need mechanical pencil lead, copies, or presentation supplies only. Even their back to school deals are not all that great on the basic supplies. I also find their store layout forces you past the big ticket items and the copy center first before you reach the more mundane stationary items. For a store that specializes in stationary I am rather surprised that they do not carry refill erasers for the Pilot Dr. Grip mechanical pencil line when they carry many other refill erasers, but to their credit no store I have seen carries that particular refill.

    Office Max serves all my office needs

Four years ago I started a job with a new company, they had always bought supplies from a competitor so I tried them, and the I tried Office Max. The difference was unbelievable. Office Max was faster on getting my orders to me and over the past 4 years I have never had anything to not be available when I needed it.

There was a time that I receive something other than what I ordered when I called Customer Service they immediately sent out the item I had originally requested (I received it the next day!) and told me that if our office could use the item that was sent by mistake to keep it. It was amazing because that is how customer service works. A lot of companies have forgot about the customer, but Office Max has stayed true to how a business should be ran.

    In-Store Coupons Hard to Come By

I've been searching all over the internet for in-store coupon to use today when purchasing a new fax machine for my boss. I am not having any success at all. Every time I find one, the expiration date has passed already. I am very impressed with the great selection of office supplies; however, my boss does not want me to purchase any items unless I get a discount. There are many on-line discount codes,but he needs the machine now and can't wait for delivery of an on-line purchase.

    Shopping is easy - can spend alot

It is interesting to shop the site - very easy to locate items but they have inpulse good specials that will make you buy more - buying at office max vrs the competition in many cases will save you money - use any coupons and discounts you can find along with the maxperks. Return policy is excellent and the customer service staff is very personable.

I prefer to buy all of my office products at Office Max because the staff are always friendly and helpful and they have a large selection and everything I need is in store. Their prices are also very competitive to other large office products stores.

    Generally Good

If I can't find an item at Office Depot, I can generally find it at Office Max. I check Office Depot first because I usually shop for these types of items online. Office Depot tends to have more and better coupons and the regular prices are about the same. If it wasn't for the coupons, I would shop Office Max more often. You still get good deals there.

    Great service on return covered under warranty

I purchased a shredder from an Office Max store a year ago along with a 2-year warranty. The shredder started to have problems a few weeks ago. I called the # given with the warranty & they took care of me immediately.

The rep sent me via email an USPS postage paid doc with instructions. We had kept the box the shredder came in, repacked it, went to the post office & had no difficulty sending it back to Office Max at no cost to us.

I received within 10 days an Office Max gift card for the amount we paid for the shredder as well as the warranty amount. We will be buying another shredder there soon!

    Excellent Customer Service

I just visited an OfficeMax at the apache junction az location, and I found it to be a very pleasant experience, which now a days is not very often you find people that have great customer service. I had put a printer on hold and was coming in to buy it, so Kyla the sales associate, got my printer from the back, I asked about ink and she not only told me what type I needed but she physically showed me where to get the ink for the printer (without me even asking), explained how how much I would save if I purchased them as a packaged deal. Then at check out there was another sales associate that was checking me out and they both explained to me about MaxPerks and in detail how it worked. Which is great because I'm over half way to gettiny my free $25 now. Then they also explained all the benefits to getting the warranty with out rushing me. So then when I went to pay for my Printer, Ink & Warranty I needed to pay with 3 different credit cards and neither one looked at me or treated me like a pain customer (which I was being a pain customer having to pay with 3 cards), I was the only one that was concerned about causing them to spend more time on me & do more work, they were both very pleasant & made me feel like I wasn't being a pain. After I was done checking out, without even asking, Kyla picked up my Printer and said I'll help you to the car with this, I said I could carry it but she insisted it was heavy and she would love to help me. After we got everything in the car, she went back in the store and I had started to drive away & I was about 30 feet from the store & I see Kyla running after me to give me my receipt and Maxperks cards I had left on the counter. I thought that was great, I didn't have to get home and realize I left it and then have to go back up to the store (which I've had happen at other stores). I really had a wonderful experience at your store tonight and I really think that if you have a customer service award, it should be given to Kyla and the other girl at the register.
