4 Stars     Best Buy for In-Person and On-Line Service

Best Buy has always been my first choice for electronics shopping. In the store, they have a nice selection and extremely helpful employees, who are both knowledgeable and friendly. I gladly take products that may need repair or trouble-shooting to Best Buy for help. In addition, their online services are fabulous. It is easy to search or browse for products of interest. The only criticism I have is price. Occasionally, products at Best Buy slightly exceed my range, but the service and selection more than makes up for this. In summary, I have recommended several friends to Best Buy and will continue to do so in the future.

We recently purchased 2 TVs from Best Buy. Both are wonderful quality TVs at a great sale price and we are very pleased. I ordered online to pick up instore and the staff went our of their way to provide amazing customer service! Great Job Team!

BestBuy shopping is a pleasure. Lots of helpful staff and wouldn't go to any other store for computer, appliance, phones or TV. With a rebate offer about to expire and no product on the shelf, they allowed me to order the item to use the rebate! Excellent service.

I went to Best Buy to buy a laptop computer for school. I explained this to the salesperson and he was very receptive and listened to my needs but was reluctant to show me any machine less than $500.00. While he was looking for a model he had shown me upon the storage shelves, I found the HP mini on my own and decided to purchase it instead. After all the extras (warranty, hardware, etc) I asked about microsoft office and he said he could get it for me for a $100.00 so I agreed, seemed like a fair price. (student version) To my surprise I get home to install the software only to find that I could only install on one pc. I was not too hapy about that.

4 Stars     Service depends on the employee

I've bought many things from Best Buy over the years and I've had about 50/50 luck. I would never, EVER use them again for computer help--they were rude and dismissive and actually told me that I should have been able to fix something myself. But my main issue is with the employees. I've had some wonderful experiences where the employee went out of their way to make me feel welcome and not pressured to buy anything. At the same time, I've wandered the store looking for someone to help me and never finding anyone. Or worse, have three employees standing near me chatting about the party they were at the night before and completely ignoring me, even though I was clearly waiting for help. Do I continue to shop at Best Buy? Yes. Do I wish that they would train their employees to be courteous and actually help customers? YES.

I like the way customers are attended to at Best Buy; there is always someone noticing you as a customer and making sure you are finding everything you need. The displays are awesome! I find the customer service reps are very knowledgable and eager to assist. For electronics, gaming, office essentials, and movies/dvds Best Buy is my place to shop. I will if necessary pay the extra dollars for ease of shopping and superior customer service.

4 Stars     Best Buy When You Want to Experience 100% Customer Service

My husband and I visit Best Buy 1-2 times per month and we are always happy with the service we receive. No matter if you are visiting the Geek squad with electronic questions or issues, specific departments such as computers, printers, music, games or simply wandering the store looking lost and confused, the knowledgeable staff are always there to help, guide, explain, educate, etc. The Best Buy policy is obviously 100% Customer Service and it shows everywhere in the store. The training is excellent and if by chance you talk to someone who does not have the answer the staff will go to someone who does. In the past few months we have purchased a computer, a printer, Wii games, CDs, DVDs and a small flat screen TV and we are very happy with all our purchases. The Geek Squad even helped me with a "blue screen of death" virus on my old laptop

3 Stars     Not Enough Incentive

My son goes to Best Buy ALL the time. He has bought 2 laptops from them. I looked everywhere for a coupon or promo deal since he spent $1,200.00 on this last laptop. The manager told me they would honor any deal within 30 days. But I am finding that coupons and promos do not apply to the big ticket items. It is sad. I am sorry that he didn't wait, I could have found a way better deal online!

5 Stars     Shopping Experience

When shopping at Best Buy you can count on experienced people to assist yoy with whatever item your interested in. I was their maybe 5 minutes and a nice employee assisted me in what I was looking for. Everything is so organized and easy to find. The store is very tidy and truly welcoming. It was the best shopping experience ever. Will come back!

3 Stars     Is the best buy really at Best Buy?

The answer is completely dependent upon what you are looking to purchase. Personally, I find the knowitall geek squad guys who's mediocre and brainwashed knowledge about computers a bit too friendly. I don't need six bluntly fake smiling people asking me if I need help while browsing random computer products/accessories to perhaps impulsively buy. If anything, it makes me want to leave. Also, repeatedly I have been hounded by their employees as they attempt to make sure I'm not stealing anything while browsing their less than acceptable, actually fucking horrible CD collection.

Best Buy always has a lot of selections. I like shopping online as much as in the store especially around the Holidays. I like the fact that I can access my Rewards points at the store which helps me save time. If you are presistant you can find alot of poplar items on sale. No real complaints with my local store. Even the employees have been very helpful.

Came in during the christmas rush, Couldn't believe I was in and out of there in under ten minutes. Agent was very nice, and knowledgable. Came back after Christmas and bought a laptop from them, and again, I was in and out, answered all my questions with ease. Really a very nice experience

4 Stars     A simple and clean experience

Best Buy is definately one of leading competitors, and that's for a good reason. The stores tend to have a fairly expanded selection of products from store brand to the more expensive name brands. The aisle designs allow for easy browsing of popular products while the atmosphere is a little techno geek than big box store. Occasionally the selection can be limited when looking for particular (eg non box set speakers, cables, and some more "hardcore" items) but that doesn't affect my choice too much when I decide to shop.

4 Stars     One of my favorite stores

My local Best Buy is a very nice place to shop. The staff is very helpful and informative. The aisles are mostly easy to shop. I almost always find what I am looking for or they staff helps me find it online. They offer good discounts and coupons. I only have two issues. One is the sound level. They music is just too loud. The other is that the ebook area is disjointed and difficult to shop.
