3 Stars Need more deals

Best Buy has a lot of great stuff. I got my camera and ipod there and used to go there to buy movies. Good selection of movies. I don't buy movies anymore so I don't really go to best buy much. I only go when my camera needs maintenance. Geek squad has been a very helpful part of Best Buy. It sucks when the lines are too long. It takes forever. The worst thing about Best Buy is that no one ever answers the phone. You can call there and it rings forever and ever. You could wait for 15 minutes trying to reach someone. Probably longer but I hung up thinking it was ridiculous. At the store, people are usually very helpful. I like that whenever my camera or ipod breaks they will send it out to be fixed. I had a huge issue with an ipod once. They sent it to the wrong address because they never verified my address. Huge hassle but I eventually got a new one from them. They gave me a gift certificate to make up the difference in cost between the ipod that was lost and the one I bought (they didn't have any in stock of the model of the lost one). That was great. I wish you guys had more coupons. Like Michaels arts and crafts store. They have coupons all the time. That's why people shop there so much. You get a 40% off coupon everytime you shop there. I would go to Best Buy more often for any electronic stuff if you guys had coupons like that. Even if it was just 20%. Because you can buy everything you sell online for less than the prices you charge. But if you had coupons, then people would enjoy the deal with the convenience of not having to wait and not pay shipping and handling. Coupons are good.

5 Stars Great Customer Service at Best Buy Store 264, Columbia, SC

My husband needed a cover for his blackberry today. Purchase approximately $30.00. Two Mobile Managers, Joey Wells and Derrick gave us excellent attention and service. We recieved more information from these two managers than we recieved at our Verizon customer service.

Derrick and Joey was a wealth of information.

4 Stars no major problems

best buy is full many nice gadgets and has great prices on their special sales.i usually check them when i need something to see if their price on the item is the best buy so to speak. sometimes it is. ofcourse i don't like the wait to return or exchange things when it is busy and i always think they should hire more people for the busy times, but otherwise no major problems....

My wife and I were shopping for a new laptop and found one we liked on Best Buy's website. The sale they had included a free Wii with the laptop. We went to the store the next morning to make our purchase and the salesperson told us the sale had ended the night before. But I was determined to get my Wii! So I asked for the manager and explained to him the situation. I simply told him that we came to his store specifically for those items and would be glad to purchase them elsewhere. In addition, the website made no mention of when the sale was ending. Without hesitation, the manager agreed to honor the sale and thanked us for coming to his store. This was a great example of customer service that went above and beyond. I loved Best Buy before and will be even more likely to return for future purchases after this experience.

5 Stars Overall Fantastic!

I don't know how Best Buy is in other states, but, in Cleveland Ohio its the best.

I've always received the best service and friendly smiles. People willing to help you especially in the music CD department are always on hand and very helpful.

2 Stars Customer Service improvement

To Mr.Vice President, (2/12/2010)

I bought a camera from Best Buy two weeks ago but it cost me a lot of headache due to the customer service attitude and unprofessional service.

I originally went to the 121 HWY and custer Best Buy store that it had the Cemara in the shop but it did not! so then the associate send me to the other store after he checked for me the availability in the location in 121 Stone Biare mall but again the customer service associate told me that there is NONE overthere and they sent me to the THRID store at HWY 75 Northeast corner + close by Allen Premium Outlet. Then the Service Manager told me that the price was higher from his store and he could not sell me as the other Best Buy store from the Stone Baire Mall!!!

This is very rediculous with the same Best Buy store!!!

There is no consistency price from the merchadise sell from Best Buy stores or the customer has to check the price individual store prior to purchasing his/her merchandise!

I hope this is a good inout for your consumer department and improve your Best Buy customer policies in the future or this message will be posted or broadcasted.

5 Stars Best Selection Best Products

Best Buy has time and time again proved to me what real customer service feels like. The whole company image gives a real feeling of a store that not only sells electronics at fair prices but has the knowledge and service to stand behind that image. I find that best buy almost always carries only good products. This makes me believe they do a lot of product research which just makes sense.

5 Stars IPod Replacement Plan

My son's IPodwas not fnctioning properly and I could not find the receipt for the original purchase. An employee on the phone looked up my account for me and found the record of the purchase and gave me a customer number so when I came into the store it could be printed out. Customer Service promptly did just that and advised me to go to the Geek Squad counter. That person reviewed the receipt, talked with us about the IPod, and said it indeed needed to be sent in for repair. He said it would be back in 3-5 weeks. We received a replacement IPod in three days. Outstanding customer service and I would like to thank the employee who talked with me about buying the replacement plan in the first place. Top notch visit to your store. Thanks.

5 Stars Is what it is.

Best Buy is one of the greatest places I've ever shopped at to get technology. I've grown up around best buy and always new that they would have the new game and wouldnt sell out anytime soon. My only problem for Best Buy is that the sells can be hard to catch at the wrong time. But the store is great always organize, nice staff that helps the costomers. ITS GREAT!

2 Stars Store pick up/online order

I liked the ease of the online ordering for a store pick up! However, it does not eliminate your need to stand in line at Customer Service desk and wait for them to locate your order. I ordered several items and they were not placed together at the pick up desk and had to be hunted down to locate. Only to find out one of the items was missing and could not actually even be picked at the store as indicated! Also, returns on these same orders are more difficult and treated differently than items purchased at the store.

I have used Best Buy for a few years now and each time have found the employees helpful and fairly knowledgeable about the questions I have had regarding the various needs and purchases I have made. Recently we have been shopping for a TV and the staff that has helped us has given us honest, candid answers, even not trying to upsell us but rather helping us find what suits our needs. I will continue to use Best Buy as long as they maintain the integrity they have displayed so far. Keep up the good work.

Best Buy offers great tech help, a variety of products from PC, cameras, Ipod, phones,music,TVs, etc with a knowledgeable "can do" staff.

It is truly a one stop electronic/PC store that meet the needs of a basic electronic customer user to a truly IT/PC geek customer. I love it and give it 5 stars!

i bought it about a week ago and its exellent, the only thing i dislike about it is the sound quality, the speakers are not in the right position so it makes a little bit more difficult to listen to it in certain angles,overall really good product worthy of price

5 Stars Excellent customer service

I went into Best Buy 2 days ago to look for a TV. During the time I was there, four different people asked me if I was finding everything ok and needed any help. It was a nice change from the other times I'd go there (years ago) and there would be no one in sight to help or answer questions. Then I called the same store today to ask a few questions and they were prompt in answering the phone and answered all of my questions. My opinion of Best Buy has certainly changed for the better. I stopped shopping there years ago because of the bad service. Glad they've changed in that arena.

I like this I-touch. It's more than just music player. Adding new applications for different kinds of things is a great feature. If you think of it there is an app. for all kinds of things. and there is space for it. I have the one that has 8 gigs and there still is space.

3 Stars Failure to serve customers

By not finding a person to help me out, I get fustrated and dissapointed and I have to drive further to get full service such as driving all

the way to Fry's in Burbank.

It seems that Best Buy as more people in certain

departments than othes.

Every time I go there I find myself hunting for a

sales person, instead of them trying to help

customers even if is to give information regarding

an item.

However in the check out is great no waiting on the

lines like in Fry's.

If sales people were more serving I would not need to take my money somewhere else.

Over all I give three stars for great check out

service.

Best Buy is a pretty solid store, it has many electronics and sometimes at pretty low prices. They also offer Reward Zone memberships to help you earn some money while spending. I am very pleased with how Best Buy runs the company. I just wish sometimes they would have lower prices.
